At The Beautiful Bride Shop, you can return or exchange* your order within 60 days of receipt.

Registering a return at The Beautiful Bride Shop

1. REGISTRATION

Select the items you wish to return within 60 days of receiving your order and choose the desired return method.

Pack your items and attach the return label to the package.

2. PACKING

Pack your items and attach the return label to the package. Don't forget to remove the old shipping label.

Take your package to the shipping location within 5 working days after registering

3. SHIPPING

Drop off your package at the shipping location within 5 working days after registering or have it picked up by a courier service (depending on the return method you chose).

Once our distribution center receives your return, you will receive a refund or an updated Klarna invoice within 10 business days.

4. REFUND

Once our distribution center has received your return, you will receive a refund or an updated Klarna invoice within 14 days.

If you live in one of the countries below, you can use our return portal to register your return using your order number and the email address you used for your purchase.
Through the portal, you can purchase a return label (starting at € 4.95) or request a free exchange (only for another size or color). Depending on your location, local carriers like DPD, DHL, PostNL, or UPS will be available.

Self-Managed Returns

Do you live in another country not listed above? No worries — you can still return your order within 60 days. However, you will need to arrange your own return shipment:

  • You must ship with a carrier of your choice
  • Return costs are fully at your own expense
  • Exchanges are not available for these countries
  • Always keep your proof of shipment

Even if you're handling the return yourself, we still recommend registering your return through our portal. This way, you’ll receive:

  • The correct return address for your order
  • A unique QR-code to include in your package (This QR-code is for internal use only and helps us process your return faster!)

Frequently asked questions about returns

How can I send it back? chevron-down

You can register your return through our return portal. At the top of the page, click the large black button to begin. You do not need a customer account — just enter your order number and the email address you used when placing your order. Then select which items you'd like to return and the reason. Finally, choose whether you prefer an exchange or a refund.

Please note about shipping refunds:
Shipping costs are only refunded if you return all items from your order. If you return just part of your order, the original shipping fee is not refunded.

Also, if you received a shipping discount based on your order value, and returning items causes the total to drop below that threshold, the original (non-discounted) shipping cost will apply and be deducted from your refund. For example, if you received free shipping from €50, but after the return your order value falls below that, the standard shipping fee (e.g. €5.95) will be recalculated and applied.

Shipping fees and free delivery thresholds vary per country. You can view the current rates and discount rules for your country on our Shipping Information page or during checkout.

Is the return shipment free of charge? chevron-down

Returns are not free.
Return shipping fees start at €4.95 and vary depending on your country and parcel weight.

Free returns are only available when you request an exchange for a different size or color through our return portal — and only in countries where this service is supported.

How can I request an exchange? chevron-down

You can request an exchange through our return portal. Simply click the large black button at the top of the page to register your return. You do not need an account. Just enter your order number and the email address you used during checkout.

Next, select the items you wish to return and provide the reason. You can then choose whether you'd like an exchange or a refund. Want to exchange your item for a different size? Then select Exchange. If you'd like to swap it for a different product, please choose Refund and place a new order. Don’t forget to specify the size you want to receive.

Exchanges for other veils, jewelry, decorations, scarves, or stoles are generally not possible. In some cases, a different color may be available. If so, request the exchange through the portal and specify your preferred color.

How long will it take for my return to be processed? chevron-down

Once our distribution center has received your return, you will receive a refund within 14 days.

I cannot register my return. chevron-down

Please make sure that you entered the correct email address.
It must match the one you used when placing your order.
If you made a mistake in your email address during checkout, please contact us via our contact form or send an email to service@beautifulbrideshop.com.

Switzerland chevron-down

Returns from Switzerland

You can register your return from Switzerland via our return portal. This lets us know in advance that your return is on its way and helps speed up the processing time. Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to purchase a return label through our portal if you're in Switzerland. However, the return address will also be provided in the portal after you register.

If you're returning or exchanging items from Switzerland, you are fully responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

Please note: Swiss VAT, customs fees, and Swiss Post charges cannot be refunded. If you wish to apply for a refund of import duties, you must do so through Swiss customs:

⚠️ Important: We do not accept returns for which customs fees or other charges need to be paid. Please clearly mark your package and shipping documents as a return.

Once your return has been processed, we will confirm receipt via email. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (bank account, credit card, invoice, PayPal). For Klarna purchases, a Klarna statement will be updated accordingly.

Exchanges from Switzerland
If you are returning items for an exchange, we kindly ask that you cover the return shipping costs, just like with a regular return. However, the shipment of the new item will be free of charge.

Please also clearly indicate on the customs form that it is a return shipment.

Once we receive your return, we’ll confirm it via email and the exchanged item will be shipped to you. If any exchanged items are on backorder, they will be sent as soon as they are available.

How to Purchase a Return Label

After registering your return in our return portal and selecting the items you'd like to return, you can choose your preferred shipping service.
In the next step, you can pay for the return label using your preferred payment method.
Once payment is completed, the label will be sent to you by email.

How long do I have to return my order? chevron-down

At The Beautiful Bride Shop, you can exchange or return your order within 60 days of receiving it.

Can I return two orders in one package? chevron-down

If you want to return multiple orders in one package, that's no problem.
Simply register your return(s) through our return portal and purchase one return label in total. You can register the additional order(s) without buying an extra label by selecting the “No label” option (Self-Post).
All orders will be registered as returns, but you’ll only pay the return costs once.

Please mention the other order number(s) in the comment section. Write all order numbers clearly on the return form and include all forms inside the package.

I have received an incorrect or damaged item. chevron-down

If you received a wrong or damaged item, please report it within 72 hours through our return portal. There is no need to email us — simply register your return and indicate that you received a wrong or damaged item.

Please upload clear photos of the damaged item (and optionally the shipping box) so we can help you as quickly as possible.
If you received the wrong product, please let us know which item you received instead.

Please note: After 72 hours, we can no longer guarantee that the damage did not occur during shipping, delivery, or while the item was in your possession. In such cases, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.

Which products cannot be returned? chevron-down

You can return any item as long as it is unworn.

IMPORTANT!

  • Items cannot be returned if the original tag has been removed.
  • Cosmetic products can only be returned if they are unopened and in their original packaging.
  • Adhesive bras can only be returned in their original packaging and with the protective plastic film intact.
    Once the film has been removed, the bra is no longer eligible for return.
Is my return shipment insured? chevron-down

If you purchase a return label through our return portal, your return shipment is insured up to €500, regardless of the carrier.

Can I return on my own terms? chevron-down

Returning a package on your own is possible, but not recommended.
If you choose to ship a return yourself, we won’t be able to track the package. This means we cannot verify whether it has arrived, and you're not insured in case the package gets lost — the responsibility is entirely yours.

We highly recommend registering your return through our [return portal], unless you’re unable to do so.

Eligible EU Countries

  • Return costs are always the responsibility of the customer.
  • Return labels start from €4.95, depending on the country. These prices only apply when using the return label offered through our return portal.
  • If you choose to return your items using another carrier or method, the costs may vary.

EU Countries Without Return Label Support

  • Even if you're in the EU, if your country is not supported by our return label system, you will need to handle the return yourself.
  • You can still register your return through our portal. This way, you receive the correct return address and a QR code (for internal use only), which helps us process your return faster.
  • Return costs, tracking, and safe delivery are your own responsibility.

Non-EU Countries

You have the right to return your order within 60 days of receiving the products. For countries outside the EU – such as the United Kingdom and Switzerland – we currently cannot provide return labels.

Customers must arrange the return shipment themselves and are responsible for: 

  • Customs documentation
  • Return shipping costs
  • Any additional fees

Please register only one order through our return portal and include the completed return form inside the package. Always keep your proof of shipment until your return has been fully processed.

Hygiene regulations chevron-down

Trying on Items

Of course, you’re welcome to try on the items — after all, you need to see how they look and whether they fit.

Please handle the items with care. Most products are made from delicate materials and can be easily damaged.
Try them on in smoke-free and pet-free environments, as hair and odors can transfer easily.
Try shoes on a soft surface. Both bridal and groom shoes have delicate soles that can get marked quickly. Be especially careful with satin shoes, as they don’t get along well with liquids.
When trying on shoes, stockings, or lingerie, always follow basic hygiene rules: try them on over your own underwear.
If you're trying on an adhesive bra, do not remove the protective film. The best way to check sizing is to gently hold it in place from the front.

Our second chance items are subject to our general terms and return policy. This means you can return these products within 60 days, but we kindly ask that you handle them with care while trying them on.

Keep the proof of shipment you receive from the carrier until your return has been fully processed.

What should I do if I no longer have the original shipping carton? chevron-down

It’s absolutely no problem if you no longer have the original shipping box. What’s most important is that you pack the item properly so that it is not damaged on its way back to The Beautiful Bride Shop. You may use any other sturdy box or packaging.

Please do not use the shoebox or the product packaging as the shipping box. If you use the shoebox or original product packaging as the outer shipping box, we will charge a depreciation fee of at least €15.00.

Refusal of the package at the door chevron-down

If the delivery driver comes to your door and you refuse the package, the return shipping costs will be charged to you. Carriers charge us additional fees for refused deliveries, which we also pass on. The return fee for a refused delivery at your door is €7.95.

What if I do not collect a parcel from a parcel store? chevron-down

If a package is not picked up at a parcel shop within 7 days, it will automatically be returned to us. We're always happy to resend it to you at no additional cost. However, if you no longer wish to receive the package, the return shipping fee will be charged to you. Carriers charge us extra fees for uncollected packages, which we also pass on. The return shipping cost for unclaimed packages is €7.95.
